To increase the awareness and profile of a pre-packed Cheddar aimed at the upper end of the market both in-store and on-line
A series of competitions, coupled with recipe ideas, editorial coverage and sponsorship of recipe collections across three leading ‘foodies’ websites – BBC GoodFood, JamieOliver.com and AllRecipes.co.uk – devised and produced by BFC.
Six luxury picnic experiences were offered as main prizes – two per website and 30 runners up prizes for unique Tickler cheese boards were also up for grabs.
11,750 competition entries were received during the month of August 2011 and the Tickler website itself received over 1,000 new visitors during the same period – an increase of 131% when compared to the previous month.
